Tips on Tipping in England, France, Portugal and Spain (for Wade) :-)

England

Customary tip for tours is £1 per person for the guide as well as the driver.

Do not tip in bars and pubs.

Hotel luggage £1-2 per bag.

For taxis, it is customary to round up the fare to the nearest £

France

In restaurants, 1-5€ per person.

For tour guides, 2-5€ per person.  For the tour driver, 1-2€ per person.

Portugal

For tours and drivers, 5€ per person

At restaurants, 10-15% if no service charge.

Do not tip taxis or spas.

Spain

Tipping in Spain is not expected.  1-2€ total at the most.
